Today at Russell Street School we had raffle for a ride. I got pulled out of the draw and got to lucky dip what car I was going in to school. I drew out the More FM car. I Got to choose two friends, I chose Zoe and Sumayah. I couldn’t choose Jessie because she was having a ride in the police car.

I had to wake up early because Gareth had to pick us up round 8:00am. We got to go to McDonalds for breakfast, I had hot cakes and orange juice. While we were eating our breakfast he put us on the radio. I went on the radio about three times. After he took us round the block and back to school. Then he dropped us off and couldn’t stay because he was doing an interview with Hilary Barry from three news.

I am learning how to use a craft knife safely. I can do this when I…
• Always cut away from my hands and body.
• Remain focused at all times.
• hold the knife firmly.
• Cut with slow and steady movements.
• Use 3cm of blade on my knife.

Positive:
● I had a sleepover at my house with Jessie and Zoe.
● Jessie came over for dinner.
● I went shopping heaps of times.
● Jessie came over to watch the Rugby.
● The All Blacks won the Rugby World Cup 2011!!

Minus:
● Holidays went to fast.
● I didn’t see Sumayah.
● I got sick.
● I was bored.
● I didn’t do much.

Interesting:
● I went to Hawks Bay to see my cousins.
● My brothers friend came from Tauranga to stay with us for a week.
● My mum invited lots of people over.
● I didn’t see my dad for three days.
● The All Blacks are doing parades round New Zealand.

Namibia: White stands for peace,unity, tranquility and harmony. Blue represents the namibian sky and the atlantic ocean. The yellow sun denotes power and existence, green symbolizes vegetation and agricultural resources.

Spain:  The red and yellow colours are related to those of the oldest spanish kingdoms. The cost of arms is quartered to display the emblems of the traditional kingdoms of Spain.

Cuba: The blue stripes of the Cuba flag refer to the three old divisions of the Cuban island, the two white stripes stand for the ideal of independence and the red triangle stands for equality, fraternity and freedom and also for the blood split in their struggle for independence.

Samoa: The blue colour signifies freedom and white symbolizes purity. The five stars resemble the constellation of the Southern Cross.
